Husky Experiences
We also offer small sized husky tours for travellers in Rovaniemi during the autumn and winter season. These experiences offer more than just a husky ride. They are a chance to connect with the world of sled dogs in a responsible and meaningful way. We want to offer our guests an opportunity to learn about these amazing and unique animals in an environment that is first and foremost safe and respectful for both the dogs and the humans.
As we live with our dogs further out from the Rovaniemi main area, we’ve built a cozy husky camp that works as our office, just outside the city area. We bring the dogs with us to the camp each day and take them back home after the working day is finished. This way it is logistically easier for our guests to reach us, but also the dogs that have a day off can have a quality rest at home without any disturbance.
When you are interested in booking the tours, please contact us via email. Booking in advance is always required because we are not able to host walk-in guests.

ABOUT
During your visit to the camp, you'll meet the huskies and hear stories about the life with the pack, how the dogs are trained, what daily life looks like, and what it takes to prepare for long-distance sled dog races across Scandinavia.
You’ll also get to experience a short cart ride as a passenger, guided by a professional musher. The ride takes you through a peaceful winter landscape, giving you a taste of what it’s like to travel the with the dogs.
Before and after the ride, there will be time to interact with the dogs, pet them, take photos, and enjoy a warm drink and cookies by the fire as you take in the atmosphere of the camp and the surrounding nature.
